Our wedding ceremony and many of the associated activities will take place on the festival grounds of the Nelsonville Music Festival, a fun, vibrant and eclectic 4-day music and arts fest. Wedding guests will pick up their festival passes at the VIP will-call located at the festival entrance and will then proceed to our Wedding Tent where we will have chairs and tables set up throughout the weekend. Passes will provide entry to the festival from Thursday, May 28th-Sunday May 31st. Although our wedding is on Saturday, you are invited to come a day or two early and stay through Sunday—there’s lots to do at the festival, including three stages with on-going live music, kids activities, artist displays, and more. Nighttime is particularly exciting, with light shows and main headliners bumping out the bump. We hope to dance with everyone!

 

• Please dress casually and comfortably, and be prepared for dirt, mud and rain! It’s also a good idea to look over the FAQ page of the NMF for helpful tips on attending the festival in general.
• There’s a bit of a walk from the public parking areas to the festival entrance and the Wedding Tent. If you need a ride, you will notice a retinue of golf carts giving festival-goers rides. If you tire of walking, just flag one down and they’ll give you a lift where you need to go. NMF staff and volunteers are the friendliest on earth!
• Primitive camping (no electric or running water) is free for our guests and there will be a special designated camping area near the wedding tent for those who plan to camp. Bathrooms and hot showers are available on the campus grounds of Hocking College, where the festival is located.
